New Delhi: In a joint conference with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan, his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said it is not a time for blame game as the air quality in the national capital slips into ‘severe’ category.
Arvind Kejriwal said “Air pollution is a North India problem. AAP, Delhi government or Punjab government are not solely responsible. Now not the time for blame game.”
Kejriwal has called for the Centre’s cooperation to have an action plan to curb the pollution in the North India. He claimed that along with Delhi, several regions including Rajasthan has also been affected by the pollution.
He said owing to which, the Centre cannot hold back.
During the conference, Punjab CM Mann said that government is making efforts to curb the pollution and promised that this problem will not occur next year. They affirmed that the governments of Delhi and Punjab have already started making plans on stopping stubble burning cases in the next year.

Meanwhile, the Chief Ministers of both the governments have taken the responsibility of the stubble burning taking place across Punjab, contributing over 30 per cent to the Delhi air pollution.
