Noida: A woman from Noida, Uttar Pradesh recently became the subject of discussion after a CCTV camera caught her apparently stealing a flower pot from a residential complex in Noida’s Sector 18, despite owning a BMW. The incident that happened around midnight on October 25th has received significant attention on social media, where users are surprised by the boldness of the theft given the woman’s financial status.
The CCTV footage shows the woman driving in a BMW car to park close to a particular building then casually stepping out of her luxury vehicle. She casually picks up a flower pot placed outside a shop, put the pot in car and drove away. The video also captures another person inside the vehicle who appears to helping open the door to facilitate a quick escape.

The video quickly gained attention and was widely shared after journalist Sachin Gupta, posted it on X (formerly Twitter). It garnered more than 18,000 views in a few hours. Gupta captioned the post, “In Noida, UP, a lady got out of a BMW car at 12 in the night. She picked up a flower pot kept on the roadside and took it away.” This sparked lively reactions from users, with many expressing disbelief over the woman’s actions. Most of them could not believe the unusual combination of luxury and petty theft.
Users interacted with the post and left sarcastic comments in the criticizing the woman for her actions. One user said, “She can afford the car, but not the ‘gamla’ (flower pot).
