Noida: In a shocking incident that recently unfolded in Noida, Phase-2 police arrested a stepfather for raping a minor. Following the disturbing incident, the girl’s mother on Monday reached the police station on Monday and filed a complaint against the accused stepfather. According to News24 reporter Junaid Akhtar, the woman lives in a colony in Sector 81 in Noida. She told police that her husband had passed away six years ago due to illness.
Victim Reaches Her Mother
After his death, she raised three sons and a daughter by herself. She further added that about five years ago, she married Totaram, a resident of Bulandshahr, in a temple. The 13-year-old girl told that day she was alone at her residence when her stepfather came and raped her. She managed to escape from his clutches somehow and reached her mother, crying. She informed her mother what the accused did with her and that he threatened to kill her if she told anyone.
Accused Had Two Children From First Marriage
Based on the complaint, the police registered a case against the accused and arrested him. The accused told police that he is already married and has a wife and two children. He added that his wife and children are aware of his second marriage to the victim’s mother. The station-in-charge inspector said that the accused was booked and presented before the court. He was later sent to jail in judicial custody.
