The DCP shared details on how the criminals plan the theft and warned the residents against them. He said, “They use fake Aadhaar card, ID card and gather all information on how much wealth is there in these households. Once they gain access to the house, they steal the money and other assets within three or four days or a week, otherwise after one or two days they steal and run away.

He next advised everyone to always be cautious while hiring domestic workers. “You must keep their details with you like name, photo, address, mobile number. Always dial the number and see if it is working or not and whether the person who is picking up the call knows the domestic help or not. Those who follow this, I believe that such an incident will not happen with them.” The DCP further noted that the criminals involved in this case have a history of committing similar crimes and are quite skilled at what they do.
