Noida: Amid the dipping air quality, classes from 1st to 8th in all board schools in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida) will run online till November 8.
District Inspector of Schools, Gautam Budh Nagar, Dr Dharamveer Singh has issued orders in this regard.
As per the order, classes will be compulsorily online till November 8.
It has been said in the order that classes from class 9th to 12th should also be conducted online as far as possible.
Moreover, outdoor activities will be completely closed in all schools till further orders. It will be necessary for all the principals to follow it.
This decision has been taken due to the increasing pollution in Delhi-NCR.
Delhi has reeled under ‘severe’ air quality with current Air Quality Index (AQI) at 418.
An AQI between 0 and 100 is regarded as acceptable, between 100 and 200 as intermediate, and between 200 and 300 as poor. An AQI of 300 to 400 is considered to be extremely poor.
