New buses to Yamuna Authority: Noida Authority is planning to run Six more buses from Sector-82 City Bus Terminal to Yamuna Expressway Development Authority office and surrounding areas. The officials have started preparations for the same following the instructions of the CEO of Noida Authority.
The CEO instructed the officials in a meeting held between the traffic cell of the authority and the officials of the UP Transport Corporation on Friday.
CEO inspects city bus terminal
According to Noida Authority’s traffic cell officials, these buses will reach the Sector-82 bus terminal via Sector-35 Morna Depot. Completing the journey, The buses will travel to the Yamuna Authority’s office. Officials said that five buses are plying from the terminal to Dadri-Bulandshahr for about ten months.
Earlier on Wednesday, CEO Dr. Lokesh M inspected the city bus terminal and gave instructions to increase its utility.
Authority had claimed the same earlier
The officials of the UP Transport Corporation claimed the same ten months ago. But nothing has started yet. Earlier they said that they would start with 5 buses then the number will be increased to 25-30. Now even after almost a year, only five buses are plying from the bus terminal.
Preparation to run 10 e-buses is underway
The authority is preparing to run 10 e-buses through a private company. It is being decided that an e-charging station will be installed at the city bus terminal. The tender for the same will be issued soon.
