Additionally, Goyal assessed the construction of the interchange, which is being built by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to connect the airport to the Delhi Mumbai Expressway. NHAI officials assured that the road will be completed on time.

Goyal issued instructions to expedite construction and adhere to the project’s concession agreement timelines.

The Noida airport, set to become India’s largest, is scheduled to begin commercial operations by the end of next year after completing the first phase of development in a 1,300-hectare area.

The airport is being developed by the Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, in partnership with Tata Projects as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners.
