Noida, Gurugram, and Ghaziabad, which are considered important parts of the NCR, have now become completely packed and densely populated. However, despite spending a lot on basic facilities, the system is in shambles. To overcome this situation, several projects have been initiated, such as New Noida, New Gurugram, and New Ghaziabad.
What Will Make These Townships Special?
The Uttar Pradesh government has introduced projects like New Noida and New Ghaziabad to divert the population concentrated in Noida and Ghaziabad, which is expected to grow further. Adding to this, the Haryana government has also initiated the New Gurugram project. All eyes are on this project, as these three are considered core areas of the National Capital Region (NCR).
New Noida
There is curiosity among dwellers about what these townships will look like and what facilities they will offer. Infrastructure and civic amenities are the two things that city dwellers are keen to know about.
New Noida will be established across 84 villages located in the Dadri and Bulandshahr regions of Uttar Pradesh. This new township promises to be a modern and technologically advanced urban hub. The development of New Noida is set to take place in four phases, and according to media reports, the project will be completed by 2041. This project will boost development in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts. According to sources, the new township will have an efficient traffic management system, crowd management, and real-time traffic monitoring. It also places importance on public safety and will feature advanced surveillance systems. Additionally, it will provide employment opportunities and transform the region into an economic powerhouse.
According to Noida Authority CEO, Dr Lokesh M, New Noida will be built to mirror the best features of modern foreign cities, with eco-friendly buildings powered by solar energy and abundant green spaces. The city’s planning will emphasise sustainable development, creating a seamless blend of urban life and nature, News 18 reported.
Currently, the survey and land acquisition process is underway.
New Ghaziabad
“The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is planning this township, and many meetings have been held for it. However, no official plan has been finalized. According to reports, a township of about 500 hectares, named New Ghaziabad, will be built near the RRTS corridor.
A lot of emphasis will be placed on connectivity in this project. Along with that, greenery and cleanliness will also be a focus. It will be designed in such a way that the people living there will have sufficient green cover and a clean environment. According to reports, the area around Rajnagar Extension is being considered as a possible location for New Ghaziabad.
New Gurugram
New Gurugram is a planned township in Haryana and will be situated near the Dwarka-Gurugram Expressway, from Sector 102 to 113 and Sector 76 to 95A. The best feature of this township is that it will be connected to three major highways. In addition, a railway station and an airport are also very close by. An ISBT is also going to be built here in the coming days. Property prices have increased very rapidly in the last few years, which is why this area is called a multibagger in real estate.
