Noida: As we gear up for the much-anticipated G20 Summit, which is expected to bring a wave of international visitors to the city. As delegates from various countries converge here, the city is set to witness a surge in incoming and outgoing traffic. A significant route that will witness heightened activity is the Delhi-Greater Noida Expressway.

City authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the seamless flow of traffic during this crucial time. Vibrant and colorful lights are being strategically placed around the city to add a touch of festivity and to guide the influx of visitors. The preparations are in full swing, with clear directives from CEO Lokesh M for officials to ensure that all tasks are swiftly handled.

One notable task in the preparations involves changing the poles lights on the loop that leads to Greater Noida from DND Toll on Sunday morning. This task is expected to improve visibility and ease traffic flow in the area. To minimize inconvenience, traffic police have issued advisories.

Helpline assistance

A traffic police officer shared that the road from DND Toll to Greater Noida will be closed between 11 AM and 1 PM on Sunday. This closure is expected to cause a delay of approximately two hours. However, after the pole lights are changed, the route will be reopened for vehicles. Travelers are advised to consider using alternate routes to avoid inconvenience. In case of any issues, drivers can reach out for assistance at the helpline number 9971009001.

Alternate routes

For those traveling from Delhi to Mayur Vihar through DND, they can take the route from Ashram to Mayur Vihar via Chilla Red Light, and then continue towards Mayur Vihar through DND Toll.

Travelers heading to Sector 15, 15A, and Noida City Center from DND can opt to go via Rajnigandha Chowk and then take a left turn towards DSC Road to reach their destination.

For those heading from DND towards Greater Noida, they can take the route from DND Toll to Rajnigandha Chowk, then take a U-turn and use the Sector-16A loop to access the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

As Greater Noida braces for the G20 Summit, local authorities are working tirelessly to ensure that the city’s traffic flows smoothly despite the expected disruptions. Stay informed about the routes and choose your path wisely to navigate the summit’s impact effortlessly.
