Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 21-year-old man reportedly died after being beaten black and blue by a man named Ajmat on Monday. The incident occurred at around 11 am when the victim was caught with the accused’s wife in his home in Shastri Park Area.

DCP (northeast) Rakesh Paweriya stated, “On Monday morning, after being caught with the woman at her home, her husband got angry and beat the wife and the victim black and blue.”

The victim’s uncle alleged that his nephew was brutally beaten up by more than one person. He said, “They tore out his nails and tortured him badly. He had serious wounds in every part of his body.” He was the only son of his parents and worked as an auto driver, he added.

Upon receiving the information, the police reached the accused man’s home. Till then, the victim was rushed to the hospital by his relatives, reports stated. The victim, however, succumbed to his injuries yesterday night, Police confirmed.

The police said this appears to be a matter of ‘revenge. A case was registered at Shastri Park police station under subsequent sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Further investigations into the matter are underway.
