Max Hospitals located in Delhi’s Shalimar Bagh and Dwarka received a bomb threat on Saturday evening. However, it was declared to be a hoax after nothing suspicious was found during the inspection by the agencies. Company Spokesperson stated that precautionary searches across premises were conducted and no suspicious objects were found.
“Earlier today, we received an unspecified bomb threat at Max Hospital via our call centre. In accordance with our emergency protocols, authorities were immediately informed and precautionary searches across our premises have been conducted and no suspicious objects have been found. The safety of our patients, staff, and visitors is our top priority, and we are working closely with the authorities,” the Company Spokesperson told ANI.

Earlier in the day, a bomb threat was received by the management of Taj Palace via email on Saturday. Shortly after, the Delhi Police confirmed that nothing suspicious was found and the threat was a hoax. The mail initially triggered a security response, prompting authorities to launch an investigation. Heavy security was deployed around the hotel premises, with bomb disposal squads running a thorough check in the area.
Taj Palace spokesperson also stated that the threat was a hoax and assured that the hotel management continues to remain vigilant. “After a thorough security check, the government authorities have stated that the incident was a hoax. The safety and security of our guests and employees is of paramount importance to us and we continue to remain vigilant,” the spokesperson told ANI.
Meanwhile, Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Attukal Bhagavathy Temple in Kerala also received a bomb threat via email on Saturday. Police and the Bomb Squad have been deployed at the site and are conducting security checks. It was a non-specific threat stated the police.
