In a tragic and foul incident, a 19-year-old girl from Delhi’s Nangloi, was allegedly killed by her boyfriend and two other people after she asked her boyfriend to marry her. Confirming it, the Delhi Police said Sanju, also known as Saleem, forced the girl to abort the pregnancy. The young woman was killed when she defied the decision.
The girl’s brother reported her missing to the Delhi Police on October 22 and suspected a friend of hers might be involved. Police instantly launched an investigation, combining many teams to search for her. Police later realized that her phone had been switched off, contributing to her disappearance and non-traceability.

Saleem and another suspect, Pankaj were arrested by the police, confessed to the crime. In an interview, Saleem admitted that they had hired a car on October 21, they took her along with some belongings and planned the crime. They confessed that she was pressuring Saleem to marry her, while he continued to ask for more time, creating tension between them.
On the day of Karwa Chauth, she was fasting for Saleem and they had an argument; due to which they decided to meet and sort out the issue. Saleem then called his friends, Pankaj and Ritik, who later provided a car that they had hired. The police investigation noted that the group drove towards the Haryana’s Rohtak where they allegedly killed her and buried her body in a four-foot-deep transplanted pit in a deserted area in Madina village.
Police recovered her body from a pit while conducting searches on the place advised by the suspects. Though Saleem and Pankaj are now in custody, the police are looking for Ritik who is the third accused in the case.
