IND vs WI: These Delhi Roads to Remain Closed for Five Days, Routes Diverted – Read Traffic Advisory before leaving!

Delhi Traffic Advisory: As the second India vs. West Indies Test match will begin today at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the Delhi police have issued a five-day traffic advisory. The test match will continue till October 14th. According to the traffic advisory, roads around the stadium in Delhi will be closed from 9 am today and will remain closed until the match ends on October 14th. The Delhi Police have diverted routes and advised people to plan their trips after reading the traffic advisory to avoid getting stuck in traffic jams.

IND vs WI: Traffic arrangements for five days

Traffic Advisory for IND vs WI:The second India vs. West Indies Test cricket match, will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium from October 10th to 14th. During the days, JLN Marg (Rajghat to Delhi Gate), Asaf Ali Road (Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate), and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk) will be closed. This is according to the Delhi Traffic police. Movement of Indian and commercial vehicles will be restricted from Daryaganj to BSZ Marg and from Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road. Spectators can enter the stadium from Gates 1 to 8 (South) via BSZ Marg, Gates 10-15 (East) via JLN Marg, and Gates 16-18 (West) via BSZ Marg.

IND vs WI: Where can you park vehicles? Parking prohibited on these roads

Parking will be permitted at Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road, Velodrome Road, and designated parking spaces P-1, P-2, and P-3. Taxi pickup and drop-off points will be at Gate No. 2 (Maulana Azad Medical College) and Rajghat Chowk.

BSZ Marg, JLN Marg, and Ring Road should be avoided for parking as these areas come under parking-prohibited areas. Violators will face towing of vehicles. Therefore, residents are urged to cooperate with the Delhi Police and read the traffic advisory. Avoid driving on restricted roads to avoid any inconvenience and avoid towing.
