Delhi Police Warns Against Scam Calls
Delhi Police has taken initiative and is warning the public against scam calls which can cause you financial loss. Taking to X, Delhi Police wrote, “This Hug Day, spread love, not your bank details! Beware of scam calls that can cost you HUGE. Stay alert!”
Delhi police has shared a picture along with the post and asked people to stay alert. They have advised everyone to hug their partners and not the scammers. “Don’t Fall For Scam calls, It might Cost You HUGeee Amount of money,” read the lines on the image.
The initiative of Delhi police highlights the cyberscam that have become very prevalent these days. There have been numerous cases where people have fallen victim to digital arrest and lost huge sum of money, amounting to crores. Fraudsters are continuous finding new ways to dupe people. In such situations, it becomes important to be vigilant on our end and avoid some actions that can make us vulnerable to scams. Most of the scams occur when we unknowingly share our sensitive information/ details unknowingly. The awareness post by Delhi Police voices the same and appeals to people to not share their bank details.
