Greater Noida West has garnered significant attention over the past decade due to the ongoing infrastructure work and development issues. With the area evolving rapidly and a surge in real estate activities, the residents are facing persistent problems from time to time.
Road And Traffic Jam
The city has been facing severe road conditions and traffic congestion problems due to the increased construction work in the area. According to News24 reporter Junaid Akhtar, the condition of the roads is bad, which makes commuting difficult. To tackle the problem, the Greater Noida Authority has reportedly decided to remove Char Murti and construct an underpass there.
Lack Of basic Amenities
Gr Noida West is currently grappling with lack of basic amenities such as water, electricity, sewage and more. Most of the societies face shortage of water on a daily basis and do not have a proper drainage system. Besides this, the residents are struggling with lack of medical services and other educational institutions.
Slow-Pace Construction Work
Greater Noida’s upscale sectors are facing significant challenges posed by slow-pace construction work. Complaints have surfaced regarding the poorly constructed buildings in a few societies and other leakage problems.
Mobile And Chain Snatching
Hundreds of mobile and chain snatching incidents are reported from Greater Noida. Despite CCTV cameras being installed in the societies, such incidents occur occasionally sparking fear among the residents.
Fluctuation In Price Of Property
Investors are concerned due to frequent fluctuations in property prices in Greater Noida West. Additionally, many plots are being constructed illegally in the area, probably leading to the rise in its value.
Sanitation And Waste management
Since the last one decade, there aren’t many sanitation and waste management facilities available here.
Lack Of Large Scale Development
According to residents of Greater Noida West, some areas still struggle with lack of development work on a large scale, particularly in areas such as parks, public spaces, etc.
As per reports, efforts are being made by the government to resolved the issues over time.
