Greater Noida: New U-Turn Work Begins Near Ek Murti Roundabout, Promising Relief From Heavy Traffic Jams

The estimated cost of making the new U-turn is Rs 25 to 30 lakh. It is being developed after receiving multiple requests from residents of Greater Noida.

Greater Noida: To combat the growing traffic congestion in Greater Noida West, particularly in Gaur city and Ek Murti Chowk Roundabout, the Greater Noida Authority has reportedly started constructing a new U-turn. The much-needed work started last Sunday and is expected to be completed within a month. The new U-turn is aimed to alleviate traffic between Galaxy Vega and Ek Murti Chowk roundabout.

New U-Turn To Bring Relief From Traffic Jams

Previously, a U-turn was constructed on the other side of the roundabout but the addition of another U-turn will bring significant relief to commuters. Once completed, the new U-turns on both sides will reduce hours of long traffic jams.

Project To Be Completed Within 30 Days

According to a NBT report, an official from the Greater Noida Authority confirmed that the construction work is underway and is expected to be completed in 30 days. Additionally, the estimated cost of making the new U-turn is around Rs 25 to 30 lakh. It is being developed after receiving multiple requests from residents of Greater Noida.
