Greater Noida: Good news! The upcoming project is set to drastically improve the regional connectivity in Greater Noida. The construction work to develop a new five-kilometer-long peripheral road around the Ayota sector has reportedly started. The estimated cost of building the road is around Rs 24 crore. The authorities aim to complete the construction work within one and a half years. Once functional, the road will boost economic development, besides cutting down travel time.
Key Details Of The 5-Km-Long Peripheral Road
According to reports, the peripheral road will start from the Makoda underpass and connect to an already built 60-meter-wide road. The expressway will create a streamlined and hassle-free path for commuters. Additionally, it will play a crucial role in promoting local business. The width will be divided into two categories. The 1470-m-long road will reportedly be 43 meters, and the 3490-m-long road will be 60 meters in width, reports added.
New Road To Boost Trade
This project will make traveling smoother, particularly for vehicles carrying goods. The Greater Noida Authority has allocated 125 hectares of land to facilitate wholesale trade and build a regional institute near the International Container Depot Tilpata, Zee News reported. The peripheral road promises to benefit commuters coming from villages such as Pali, Makoda, Tilpata, and Thapkheda.
Under Master Plan 2041, a railway over-bridge is reportedly proposed to be constructed near Pali village. Following the construction of the 5-km-long Peripheral road, Dadri will also be linked to GT Road. Imagine cutting down your commute time or getting stuck in heavy traffic jams. It will be than just a road as activities related to wholesale business will be boomed by it. The road will offer a smooth and easy ride between Greater Noida and Greater Noida West.
