Greater Noida: The authorities have approved that the farmers in Greater Noida can build houses upto 15 meters of height that was earlier 11 meters.
Farmers are allotted six percent residential plots in lieu of land acquisition. As per the new rule, 15 meter high buildings can also be constructed on these residential plots. The proposal was made in the Development Authority on Saturday, which has been approved.
Farmers will not have to pay fee on building construction. The decision was taken in the board meeting of the Development Authority has taken a big decision in the interest of lakhs of farmers of Greater Noida. The long standing demand of the farmers of Greater Noida has been fulfilled by the Authority Board.
Three Key Decisions
Farmers who have not built there houses yet on the land obtained from the authority, can now do so without late fee. Provided, he has not sold the plot outside the family. Plot buyers from outside the family will not get this exemption.
The minimum limit for sub-division of plots allotted to farmers has been reduced to 40 metres, which was 120 meters so far. This division will be done keeping in view the rules of planning between the original tenant and his successors.
Third, the maximum height of construction on rural abadi has been increased from 11 meters to 15 metres, at par with Noida.
