The Delhi Traffic Police Lok Adalat 2025 will take place on March 8, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at various court complexes across the city.
If you have any pending traffic challans in Delhi with high penalties, you have a chance to get them reduced or waived. In just five days, on March 8, 2025, the National Lok Adalat 2025 will be held, giving you the opportunity to settle your pending challans. This is part of a partnership between the Delhi Traffic Police and Delhi District Courts, which has introduced Special Evening Court Sessions to help resolve these challans.
Where Will the Lok Adalat Be Held?
The Lok Adalat will be held at the following court complexes in Delhi:
- Dwarka Court
- Karkardooma Court
- Patiala House Court
- Rohini Court
- Rouse Avenue Court
- Saket Court
- Tis Hazari Court
Who Can Settle Their Challans?
- You can settle any pending traffic challans, including those given to commercial vehicles by the Notice Branch or those payable on the Delhi Traffic Police portal until November 30, 2024.
- Only challans that can be compounded (settled by paying a reduced fine) will be accepted.
- Challans that cannot be paid, like those already sent to Regular, Evening, or Digital Courts, or those already paid or rejected by the court, cannot be settled.

Challan Settlement Limits
- Each Lok Adalat bench will handle up to 1,000 challans.
- In total, 1,80,000 challans will be settled across 180 benches.
Challan Limits per Vehicle
- Private Vehicles: Can settle up to five notices and two challans.
- Commercial Vehicles: Can settle up to two notices or challans.

To participate in the Lok Adalat, challans must be downloaded in advance from the Delhi Traffic Police website: traffic.delhipolice.gov.in.
The portal will open on March 3, 2025, at 10:00 am and will remain active until 1,80,000 challans have been downloaded. A maximum of 60,000 downloads will be allowed per day.
To take part in the Lok Adalat, you must download your challans in advance from the Delhi Traffic Police website: traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat.
The portal will open on March 3, 2025, at 10:00 am and will stay open until 1,80,000 challans have been downloaded. Only 60,000 challans can be downloaded each day.
How to Pay a Challan Online via Delhi Traffic Police Website
Follow these steps to pay your traffic challan online:
- Go to the Delhi Traffic Police website and find the challan section.
- Select the correct option from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your vehicle number or notice number and click “Search Details.”
- Check the challan details and select the fine you want to pay.
- Choose a payment method, complete the payment, and you will get a confirmation via SMS.
Important Instructions for Lok Adalat
- You must bring a printout of your challan or notice. No printout services will be available at the court.
- Participants must go to the court mentioned on their challan at the specified time.
- The download link will close once 1,80,000 challans are downloaded.
