Good News! Greater Noida Villages To Get Rs 1,000 Crore Boost; Roads, Power And Sewer Works Prioritised

Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh reached Greater Noida Authority with the farmers on Friday. He held a meeting in the board room with other officials of the authority in the presence of CEO NG Ravi Kumar, ACEO Saumya Srivastava, ACEO Srilakshmi VS.

Greater Noida: Road, electricity, water and sewer works will be carried on priority in the six percent plots given to the farmers. Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar gave this assurance in a meeting with farmers led by Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh. He said that all the villages of Greater Noida which have not yet been connected to the main roads, will be connected on priority.

Work To Connect Villages To Main Roads

CEO NG Ravi Kumar stated that Rs 1000 crore has been sanctioned for works like sewer, road, electricity, water etc. in the villages. He has also directed the Project Department to give priority to the work of connecting all the villages to the main roads. Meanwhile, the MLA asked to set up a milk booth in Swarnagari. To this request, CEO directed the planning department to immediately identify the place.

CEO Warns Of Water Shortage In Future

He emphasised on repairing the roads to solve the problem of long traffic jam. He also instructed the project department in this regard. The CEO further asked to deliver Ganga water to all the villages, sectors and societies of Greater Noida quickly, so that groundwater is not exploited. He warned that the groundwater level is continuously going down. He stressed that if no effort is made to stop it, then one might have to face water shortage in future.

Assurance Given To Fulfill All The Demands Of The MLA

Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh reached Greater Noida Authority with the farmers on Friday. He held a meeting in the board room with other officials of the authority in the presence of CEO NG Ravi Kumar, ACEO Saumya Srivastava, ACEO Srilakshmi VS. The farmers placed demands related to back-lease of rural population, plot shifting, six percent residential plots, development work of villages etc before the authority officials through the MLA. The CEO assured to fulfill these demands at the earliest. In the meeting, the MLA was also acquainted of the work being done by the authority for the development of farmers and villages.

Action To Be Taken On Misbehavior With People

During the meeting, the CEO reiterated the need to behave well with all the people visiting the authority. He also warned of strict action against the concerned officer-employee if any complaint of misbehavior is received.
