Good News For Noida Commuters! Shortest Expressway To Link Jewar Airport With New Noida

The 16 km long expressway will be the shortest expressway in Noida. This expressway will connect New Noida and the Jewar Airport.

There is an exciting news for Noida Dwellers, in a significant move, the Uttar Pradesh government has approved Noida Master Plan 2041. This plan aims to expand infrastructure at Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR). It is commonly referred to as New Noida. Under this plan, land from 80 villages across Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr will be acquired. The Noida Authority Board had approved the New Noida plan last year on August. It had asked for public feedback on the plan, the draft was then sent to Uttar Pradesh government for final approval. As per reports, the plan was approved last week.

According to reports, under this plan, the authorities have given nod to the construction of 16 km long expressway. This is going to be the shortest expressway in Noida. This expressway will connect New Noida and the newly constructed Noida International Airport also known as the Jewar Airport. Reportedly, preparations are underway to build this expressway which has been included in the Noida Master Plan 2041. This expressway will have 4 or 6 lanes. It will be built along the railway line from the Noida International Airport to Chola. With construction of this expressway, it will become easier to connect with other districts of Uttar Pradesh.

The Noida Master Plan 2041 will be developed in four phases. It will start by 2027 with 3,165 hectares of land. 3,798 hectares will be covered in second phase during 2027 to 2032. The third phase will cover 5,908 hectares by 2037 and by 2041, 8,230 hectares would be covered. The Noida Authority has allocated Rs 1000 crore for land acquisition.

As per the plan, 40% of the total land will be allocated for industrial use, 13% for residential use and 18% for recreational spaces and green areas. It is expected to provide housing to over 6 Lakh residents, as reported by Economic Times.

As per reports, the approval of New Noida plan and acquisition of land has begun.
