An estimated road infrastructure transformation will take place in Greater Noida through planned service road expansion between Charmurti in Greater Noida West and Sirsa Roundabout in Greater Noida. The expansion of service road width from 7 meters to 10.5 meters will change the current two lanes into three lanes. The road expansion project targets to reduce traffic jams while serving the growing number of commuters.
The increasing traffic demands of this vital corridor have led officials to initiate work for expanding Tilpata Roundabout. This 25-kilometre road extends over 130 meters and plays an essential part in linking neighbouring areas. The existing two lane service roads must be expanded because rising traffic patterns have revealed the need for improved infrastructure.
Traffic will increase significantly after the Noida International Airport in Jewar starts operations in April. The development of a special bus route begins along this route.

The Greater Noida expansion through its Master Plan 2041 received authorization for future population growth which will result from Greater Noida Phase-2 industrial development. The 130-meter road infrastructure will undergo an upgraded plan because of a strategic action plan designed for future development. Official sources from the Greater Noida Authority state that the service road expansion will reach 10.5 meters to foster better traffic flow.
Beyond expanding the Tilpata Roundabout additional roads in vacant surrounding areas will be built to boost neighbourhood connectivity. The installation of reflector lights will take place at both road edges and turn areas to boost nighttime visibility and protect road safety. Signboards at important junction points will help navigate commuters through each crossing.
The final implementation of the expansion project is expected to decrease main road congestion which in turn will reduce significant levels of traffic jams. Improved road infrastructure will deliver better traffic conditions along with reduced journey durations to passengers. Residents of neighbouring communities will find it simpler to commute because the 130-meter road will directly connect them to Noida International Airport.
CEO of Greater Noida Authority N.G. Ravi Kumar declared progress on the project while adding that service road widths would increase through the 130-meter road developer for Greater Noida to Greater Noida West. The concerned officials received the necessary directions to speed up their execution of work.
