Bharat Taxi to take on Ola and Uber due to…

The Bharat Taxi app will serve as an alternative to popular private cab aggregators. It aims to resolve the fare hike problem during rush hours by offering a simpler and transparent pricing system. It is currently in a trial phase and is being tested in Delhi and Rajkot. After Delhi, there are plans to roll out the service in Gujarat.

Features of Bharat Taxi?

One of the striking features includes plans to introduce fixed fares, which means passengers will have to pay the same price even during rush hours or weather disruptions, etc. The app is likely to display clear fare details before booking, allowing users to have a clear picture of how much they will be charged.

Another feature of Bharat Taxi is its driver-friendly revenue model. Drivers can earn more than Ola, Uber, and Rapido per trip as they will not be required to pay commissions from ride fares. They will receive more than 80 percent of the total fare, while the remaining 20 percent will be used for their operations and welfare.

What does Bharat Taxi service offer?

  • Multiple options among cabs, ranging from sedans and hatchbacks to Innovas, tempo travellers, etc.
  • Experienced and verified drivers
  • Simple booking process with real-time vehicle tracking
  • Thoroughly sanitized taxi
  • 24×7 service
  • Transparent Invoices

Over 56,000 drivers in Delhi have already registered for Bharat Taxi. This means there will be enough vehicles to handle the daily cab ridership. This app will also offer auto, car, and bike services.
