Noida News: As the G-20 Summit nears, the Uttar Pradesh government has started preparing for the event. In the latest, Noida Authority is busy decorating the city with beautiful lights to welcome the guests. This comes ahead of the foriegn delegates’ visit to Greater Noida via Noida.
To give the city a new look, authorities have started decoration at Noida’s entry gate. For which, they have given the responsibility of its construction to Orion Architects.
CEO Lokesh M. issued directives to the relevant departments for completing pending construction works before the G-20 conference.
Gate will be seen in dark grey color
Noida Authority officials told that the structure of the gate is old. The design has been changed to make it more attractive. Some parts of it were painted blue and some in light grey. Now the gate will be seen in dark gray colour.
Some part in the middle will be shiny of silver colour. Flowers have been planted around the gate. The idol of Lord Buddha is decorated with attractive lights. The work of giving a new look to the gate has been done at a cost of Rs 86 lakh 22 thousand.
Events at Expo Mart and Jaypee
In order to acquaint the representatives of G-20 countries with the rich culture of Uttar Pradesh, their visits have been scheduled for religious and heritage places in areas like Kashi, Ayodhya, Mathura, Agra and Bundelkhand.
Several countries will send their representatives to India for attending the G20 Summit who will hold meetings with big industrialists of Uttar Pradesh. For this, Expo Mart of Greater Noida has been selected.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have come to participate in the program at Expo Mart several times.
