The much-awaited Noida International Airport, also known as Jewar Airport, is set to begin its commercial operations by April, 2025. It marks a key milestone in India’s infrastructure, as it will transform the real estate market in not just Noida but other regions of NCR also, such as Faridabad and nearby areas.
Jewar Airport To Boost Economy
As part of the National Capital Region (NCR), Faridabad is already a key industrial and residential hub. However, the Jewar Airport will further elevate the city, driving investment, creating jobs, and enhancing infrastructure.
The Jewar airport is located approximately 38 kilometers from Faridabad. It is set to turn the city (Faridabad) into a major hub for both residential and commercial development. This project will improve regional connectivity and attract businesses, tourists, and investors, boosting the region’s economy.
Expressways To Attract Residential, Commercial Investments
Along with this, the enhanced transportation network with Delhi-Mathura Expressway, Faridabad-KMP Expressway, Faridabad–Noida–Ghaziabad Expressway will boost connectivity in the city and stimulate economic growth. Improved connectivity will benefit local businesses, enhance logistics networks, and potentially increase property values in nearby areas. Real estate developments are anticipated along the expressway corridor, making it an attractive location for both residential and commercial investments. These expressways will cut travel time, reduce distance between major areas of Delhi-NCR.
Better road connectivity through these expressways will make it easier for businesses to set up in Faridabad, with quick access to the airport and other industrial areas.
Reportedly, an interchange is under construction in Sector-65 of Ballabgarh to connect the Greenfield Expressway, DND, and the Kundli–Ghaziabad–Palwal Expressway (KGP Expressway). According to reports, this interchange will be functional in six months and expressway in the next year. With the construction of this expressway, one can reach the Noida airport in just 20 minutes from Ballabgarh, Faridabad. Also, 26 lakh commuters will benefit once the expressway becomes functional.
Faridabad To See Transformation
‘Jagran’ quoted Harinder Dhillon, Senior Vice President of Sales at BPTP, who said, “The opening of Jewar Airport is revolutionary for Faridabad. With its advantageous location just 40 kilometers from the airport, Faridabad is poised to attract significant investments. We anticipate a significant rise in real estate demand over the next few years, driven by enhanced connectivity and infrastructure development. Jewar Airport’s capacity of 12 million passengers annually will further stimulate employment and industrial growth. At BPTP, we see this as an opportunity to redefine urban living by offering world-class residential and commercial real estate in a thriving economic environment.”
