A young woman named Sneha Sachdeva became friends with Himanshu Arora on social media. Their friendship slowly and gradually turned into a close and intimate relationship. This was where it all began, the continuous cycle of blackmailing and harassment of the young girl.

According to the police, the accused had created a fake profile and had started posting obscene content of the girl. He demanded money in return for removing all this content. The young woman was even threatened with threats like acid attack and kidnapping. He also said that he would make false allegations against her and would implicate her in a murder case.

All these mental harassments continued for three years until Sneha finally decided to file a complaint against him. She filed a complaint at the Cyber Police Station in Shahdara. After that, the police immediately started an investigation, leading to the registration of a case and the formation of a special team.

Mobile data, Instagram, and Gmail accounts were examined and checked thoroughly, which led to a piece of shocking information. The investigation revealed that all fake accounts were linked to the same mobile number, which was registered in the name of the accused’s mother, but he was using it for his dirty dealings.

Following this, Himanshu Arora was arrested. During interrogation, he confessed that he was involved in the case. The police recovered two mobile phones from Himanshu, which contained inappropriate pictures of the victim and passwords for the fake accounts. A laptop was also seized. The Delhi police has appealed to the public that everyone should be very cautious when sharing personal content on social media, and parents should also monitor their children’s online activities.
