Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced its 2025 recruitment drive for the post of Security Inspector, offering a monthly salary ranging from ₹51,100 to ₹59,800.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has invited applications for the post of Security Inspector for retired or serving Delhi Police officers, who have field experience. The eligibility criteria require the applicant to be between 55 – 62 years of age and has pay band scale from Rs 51,100 – Rs 59,800 The application is by shortlisting and interview, no written test. The last date for submission of application is May 8, 2025 to DMRC HQ New Delhi.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) has issued a recruitment notification for the position of Security Inspector. Candidates will receive an attractive pay grade and a simple selection process, with no written examination. The official notification has been published on DMRC’s website with eligibility requirements, selection process, and application process for candidates.

This is an important recruitment exercise for any individual with experience as a member of the Delhi Police. DMRC is looking to appoint them in operations roles because of their knowledge/experience of working in the field. The recruitment process is currently ongoing – applicants, with the required eligibility, can apply on or before May 8, 2025. Applicants are advised to read through the eligibility criteria and instructions thoroughly before applying.

Eligibility Standards Based On Policing Experience

Candidates to apply for the position must be both currently employed in and/or retired from the Delhi Police at the rank of Sub-Inspector or Inspector. In addition, candidates must have broad experience associated by not before five years as Assistant Sub-Inspector, Sub-Inspector, or Inspector specifically in field entities of police stations or traffic entities.

Candidates must have no issue with Departmental and Vigilance (D&AR). Regular service candidates can be eligible for the post, but only if they take voluntary retirement (through Voluntary Retirement Scheme – VRS) or otherwise retire from regular service prior to joining DMRC.

Age Requirement And Salary Rates

In accordance with the age criteria the candidate for the post should be at least 55 years of age and not more than 62 years of age, however age relaxation may be provided to candidates of reserved categories as per applicable rules.

Selected candidates will be paid a salary rate between Rs 51,100 and Rs 59,800 on a monthly basis, One of the main aspects of this recruitment process is the lack of a written examination, as determined by recruitment officials the qualified candidates will be shortlisted and directly invited for an interview based on their qualifications and experience.
