Delhi Weather Update: Rain, Thunderstorms, Gusty Winds Likely Today – Check Forecast For Next 5 Days

IMD has forecasted that the coming days will likely remain pleasant initially due to rain and later due to partly cloudy weather. However, the temperatures are expected to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.

Delhi Weather Update: The national capital is expected to receive rainfall today, May 21, 2025. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather in Delhi/NCR with temperatures reaching 30 to 40 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the Weather Body has warned against thunderstorms, lightning, dusty-raising and gusty winds (speed 20-30 Km/h) temporarily reaching 40 Km/h.

Weather Likely To Remain Pleasant

While these climatic conditions have eased the ongoing heat, humidity levels are still on the rise. Over the past week, a slight drop in maximum temperatures has been witnessed in Delhi/NCR. IMD has forecasted that the coming days will likely remain pleasant initially due to rain and later due to partly cloudy weather. However, the temperatures are expected to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.

Weather Forecast For Next 5 Days

Rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds is likely to lash Delhi on May 22, 2025, according to IMD’s latest forecast. Thereafter, from May 23 to 26, Delhiites will wake up to witness partly cloudy weather. While the maximum temperatures are expected to touch the 40-degree mark on May 23 and 26, the temperatures may hover around 39 degrees Celsius on May 24 and 25. Residents must note that there will be no heat wave conditions this week.

Residents are advised to stay indoors during stormy conditions, avoid open areas, and take necessary precautions to ensure safety.
