Delhi Weather Update: Strong dusty winds swept Delhi and its surrounding areas on Friday evening. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert until 9 p.m., warning of light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning with gusty winds up to 70 kmph. Meanwhile, rain brought significant respite from the heat on 11th April.

Weather Forecast For Next 5 Days

According to IMD’s latest press release, no heat wave conditions are likely in Delhi today, 12th April. However, residents will witness a partly cloudy sky with light rain, thunderstorms, and lightning. Follow precautionary measures, as strong surface winds gusting up to 40 km/h may hit the city. On the 13th and 14th, skies will mostly remain clear. Thereafter, on the 15th of April, strong surface winds blowing at 20 to 30 Kmph will sweep through the city.
