Delhi Weather Update: The national capital has experienced a notable shift in temperature as warmer days have arrived. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) observed a slight rise in minimum temperatures and a slight decline in maximum temperatures in Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The Met Body predicts a partly cloudy sky with a possibility of drizzle towards the night tonight. Westerly winds blew at a speed of less than 10 Kmph yesterday, March 12, 2025.
Weather Forecast For Next 5 Days
On the 14th and 15th of March, IMD predicts generally cloudy skies with the possibility of very light rain and drizzle across the city. Thereafter, on the 16th of March, the skies will remain partly cloudy with mist during the morning hours. Residents will witness a clear sky next Monday and Tuesday, with misty conditions on the morning of 17th March.


According to IMD, a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Northwest India this week, marking a significant shift in the air quality. The maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded in the range of 32 to 35°C and 16 to 17°C, respectively. At most places in Delhi on Wednesday, the minimum temperatures stayed above normal by 1-02°C, and the maximum temperatures by 02-06°C. The weather remained partly clouded yesterday, with south-easterly winds blowing at a speed between 18 to 20 Kmph at noon.

An Air Quality Index of 164 under the ‘poor’ category was recorded at 6 am on Thursday, March 13, 2025, compared to a higher AQI of 251 recorded yesterday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
