Delhi Weather Update: IMD Issues Yellow Alert! Temperature Likely To Hit 43°C On April 25 And 26

The Met Department has issued a yellow alert for today and tomorrow. IMD has forecasted a rise in maximum temperatures over Delhi by about 2°C during the next 2-3 days.

Delhi Weather Update: Amid the scorching hot weather, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a heat wave condition in the national capital on April 25 and 26. Resident must note that the maximum temperatures may reach up to 43 degrees Celsius during these two days. Sky will mostly remain clear, while occasional sustained surface winds, gusting up to 30 Km/h, might hit the city today. Thereafter, on 26th April, Delhiites may witness a partly cloudy sky.

Delhi Weather Forecast Till April 30

The Met Department has issued a yellow alert for today and tomorrow. On Sunday, April 27, there will be no heat wave conditions, however, the temperature will remain between 40 to 42 degrees Celsius. Partly cloudy weather with occasional surface winds might bring some respite to the citizens. As we proceed, Monday will see a partly cloudy sky with the temperature rising to 41°C.

Thereafter, on April 29 and 30, IMD has predicted no heat wave conditions but a partly cloudy sky with strong surface winds, blowing at a speed of 20 to 30 Km/h. The maximum temperature will remain between 38 to 40 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will be between 22 to 24 degrees Celsius.

IMD has forecasted a rise in maximum temperatures over Delhi by about 2°C during the next 2-3 days. Meanwhile, an active Western Disturbance extending as a trough in the middle tropospheric westerlies is likely to impact Northwest India over the next few days.
