Delhi Weather Update: There has been a significant rise in the maximum temperature over the national capital. The days have turned hot, with temperatures soaring to 34 degrees Celsius. Delhi is witnessing mainly clear skies along with pleasant weather. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there has been a fall in minimum temperatures and an appreciable rise in maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are currently in the range of 33 to 35°C and 14 to 17°C, respectively. North-westerly winds continue to prevail over parts of the city.

Talking about weather on Monday, 24 March, Delhi residents will witness clear sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures will remain 34 and 17 degrees Celsius respectively. IMD has issued no specific warning regarding the weather on Monday. The weather will remain generally pleasant.

Delhi Weather Update: Forecast For This Week
The maximum temperature is set to rise this week, reaching up to 37 degrees Celsius. Sky will remain mainly clear from 24th March to 26th March. The maximum temperature is expected to touch 37 degrees Celsius on 26th March and 36 degrees Celsius on 25th and 27th March. These days can be called as the hottest days in March, based on the data observed. Strong surface winds are expected to prevail over national capital from 27th March and will continue till 29th March. The speed of these surface winds will be 20-30 km/h. While there will be a rise in maximum temperature, minimum temperature is expected to remain in the range 17 to 19 degrees Celsius.

AQI In Delhi
The air quality in the national capital continues to remain in the ‘moderate’ category. Favourable meteorological conditions have led to the improvement in the AQI. The AQI was recorded at 181 on Monday at 6 am, according to the CPCB.
