Delhi Weather Update: After a brief respite from the heat last week, Delhi is set experience hot days again. This week, the maximum temperature is again set to soar to 37 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to remain in the range of 35-37 degrees Celsius. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there has been fall in minimum temperatures and appreciable rise in maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours. Despite the rising temperatures, the IMD has not issued any warning of heat wave conditions in the national capital.
Delhi Weather Update: Forecast For Tuesday, April 1
On Tuesday, April 1, the maximum temperature is expected to remain 35 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain mainly clear with maximum humidity level of 42 percent. Strong surface winds with speed of 10-20 km/h will prevail during the day. The IMD in its bulletin, stated that the Maximum and minimum temperatures are in the range of 33 to 37°C and 13 to 15°C respectively. The minimum temperatures are appreciably below normal by 3-4°C, whereas maximum temperatures are near normal over most places over Delhi.

Forecast For Next 5 Days
Delhi residents are expected to experience hot weather conditions over the next five days. The maximum temperature is predicted to reach 37 degrees Celsius on April 4 and 5. It will remain 36 degrees Celsius on April 2, 3 and 6. Partly cloudy sky is expected on April 2, whereas clear sky conditions have been forecasted on other days of the week (April 2, 4, 5 and 6). Along with the rising temperatures, strong surface winds have been predicted for April 4 and 5. The speed of these winds is expected between 20-30 km/h occasionally gusting to 40 km/h on both the days. No heatwave condition is expected until April 7 in the national capital.
