Delhiites will witnesses generally cloudy sky on Sunday, July 6, with light to moderate rainfall. The showers, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and lightning are expected to bring a drop in temperatures and a fresh, breezy atmosphere across the city. A yellow alert has been issued for rainfall today. Due to the cloud cover and rainfall, maximum temperatures are expected to hover around 35-37°C. The relative humidity is likely to remain high, offering a muggy feel despite the dip in daytime heat. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is expected during evening and night.

The national capital is set to remain under the influence of active monsoon conditions throughout the upcoming week, with a generally cloudy sky prevailing each day. On July 7, the residents can expect light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, with daytime temperatures ranging between 32-35°C. Winds will vary in direction, with moderate south-westerly and north-westerly flows dominating. From July 8 onward, the intensity of rainfall is expected to slightly reduce.
