Delhi Traffic Update: If you are also planning to travel around IP Marg, ITO, then you are advised to plan your journey accordingly. The Delhi Traffic Police have issued advisory, stating restrictions and diversions that will be in place on Monday on several routes. Commuters have been advised to avoid these routers during the mentioned hours and used the alternative roads. The traffic restrictions and diversions have been announced due to exigencies. Delhi Traffic Police notified about the advisory through an X post. It stated that traffic curbs on these routes will remain in effect form 10.30 AM to 12:30 PM on Monday, June 2.
Delhi Traffic Police wrote on X, “On 02.06.25, Due to exigencies, traffic restrictions & diversions will be in place in both the carriageways and service roads around IP Marg, ITO crossing, Vikas Marg, MGM IP flyover, DDU Marg & BSZ Marg from W point to A Point upto Delhi Gate. Commuters are advised to avoid these routes from 10.30 AM to 12:30 PM and use alternative roads for a hassle-free journey.”
“Parking will only be allowed in designated areas,’ the post added.

Another Advisory
Commuters should also note that in connection with the construction of an underground pipe culvert at T-Point of Road No. 66 & G.T. Road (near Seelampur Red Light, Ghas Mandi), traffic movement will be affected from June 7 to June 9.
They are advised to use alternate routes, plan travel in advance and stay updated via Delhi Traffic Police channels.
Delhi Traffic police stated in an advisory, “The structure, as reported by PWD, has deteriorated and requires urgent repair to the underground pipeline. Due to this, traffic movement on both carriageways from Seelampur to Maujpur and vice versa on 66 Ft Road will be affected during the above-mentioned periods.”
