Delhi commuters will face travel restrictions on Sunday, May 4 in view of the community run “Compete with Yourself” at Sector 10, Rohini. The vehicular movement around Japanese Park will be restricted until 9:00 am. The Delhi Traffic Police has issued travel advisory through an X post. It has asked commuters to take alternate routes to avoid inconvenience. The action has been taken to ensure the safety of participants and smooth conduct of the event along with vehicular movement around Japanese Park. Normal traffic movement is expected resume by 9:00 am.

Route of the Community Run: Starting from Metro walk, Lake View apartments, T point KNK, Ram Murti Passi Marg, U turn near Red light, Metro Walk, Back to starting point.
The Delhi Traffic Police has laid several instructions for commuters which are as follows:
Avoid the restricted roads during the event duration.
Plan your travel in advance, especially to hospitals, railway stations, or ISBTS.
Prefer public transport to reduce congestion.
Park only in designated parking areas.
Follow traffic rules and obey traffic personnel.
It had further asked commuters to stay informed through official Delhi Traffic Police updates.

Moreover, movement of traffic is restricted on Joginder Singh Marg in the carriageway from District Centre, Janakpuri towards Lal Sain Mandir Marg due to road cave-in. Delhi Traffic Police has asked the commuters to avoid the stretch and plan their journey accordingly.
