Delhi Traffic Alert: Truck Breaks Down At Andrews Ganj Flyover, Vehicular Movement Disrupted On Ring Road

The vehicular movement has been affected due to breakdown of a Trolla truck at Andrews Ganj Flyover. They have advised commuters to plan their journey accordingly.

Delhi Traffic Alert: Delhi Traffic Police on Friday issued traffic alert for Ring Road in the carriageway from Moolchand towards AIIMS. The vehicular movement has been affected due to breakdown of a Trolla truck at Andrews Ganj Flyover. They have advised the commuters to plan their journey accordingly. Delhi Traffic Police informed about it through a post on X. “Traffic is affected on Ring Road in the carriageway from Moolchand towards AIIMS due to breakdown of a Trolla truck at Andrews Ganj Flyover. Kindly plan your journey accordingly,” wrote Delhi Police.

Daulatabad Chowk Flyover Shuts For 44 Days

Meanwhile, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has shut the entry from the elevated service road at Daulatabad Chowk towards Delhi on Dwarka Expressway. The closure was announced for a period of 44 days from March 18 to April 30. NHAI through an X post, stated that the decision has been taken due to expansion joint replacement work on the elevated carriageway. Barriers have been installed at the entry point to the flyover, stated the NHAI officials. They added that the commuters will be diverted to surface roads till the time of the repair work. NHAI has regretted for the inconvenience and asked for cooperation from commuters.

NHAI wrote on X, “Attention commuters! Due to expansion joint replacement work, the entry from the elevated service road at Daulatabad Chowk towards #Delhi on #DwarkaExpressway will be closed from March 18 till April 30, 2025, for 44 days.”

The closure of the flyover at Daulatabad Chowk has impacted commuters travelling from Sector 99 to 106 in Gurugram, Dhankot, Basai, and Kherki Majra etc. Commuters using this route to travel to IGI airport from Basai and Dhankot will are facing inconvenience due to it. Moreover, traffic on surface roads has increases further, adding to the traffic woes.
