Delhi Traffic Alert! Major Diversions Near Civil Lines Today Due To Jan Sunwai, Commuters Urged To Avoid Rajniwas Marg

Delhi Traffic Alert: In view of the Jan Sunwai being held at Civil Lines today, July 9, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory, outlining major diversion points. The advisory, effective from 7:30 a.m. onwards, urges commuters to avoid Rajniwas Marg, as this stretch will be made one-way. According to authorities, traffic will be restricted from Shamnath Marg Red Light towards Rajniwas Road.

Heavy traffic arrangements are in place at Bungalow No. 2, 8 Rajniwas Marg, Civil Lines, as a large gathering of officers and the general public is expected to attend the programme. Emergency vehicles and school children are exempted, while heavy, commercial vehicles and buses will be diverted from the points mentioned below, as and when required.

Guidelines For The General Public

  • Delhi Police has urged commuters to avoid the above-mentioned roads.
  • Motorists are also advised to avoid roadside parking, as it causes hindrance to the normal flow of traffic.

NOTE: Motorists are urged to remain patient, adhere to traffic rules, and cooperate with traffic personnel for a smooth experience. Additionally, follow the directions of the police deployed at key intersections and connect with Delhi Traffic Police for real-time updates and assistance through its official channels.
