Delhi Traffic Advisory: Traffic movement will remain affected on Dara Shikoh Road (both directions) on November 24 and 25 due to road re-carpeting work under the Central Vista Project Phase 2. In a comprehensive advisory issued on Saturday, the Delhi Traffic Police has outlined diversions and restrictions on several key routes from 9 pm to 6 am. Commuters must plan their journey accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
To ensure smooth execution along with the movement of construction vehicles, including dumpers, bitumen carriers, rollers, and sprinklers, traffic will be diverted via:
- Rajaji Marg → Kamaraj Marg → Sunehri Masjid → Moti Lal Nehru Marg
- Rafi Marg → Kartavya Path
Restrictions And Parking:
- No vehicle movement or roadside parking will be allowed on Dara Shikoh Road.
- Wrongly parked vehicles will be towed and prosecuted. Towed vehicles will be parked at Traffic Pit Mata Sundari Marg.
- Alternate travel access available via Moti Lal Nehru Marg, Rafi Marg & Kartavya Path.
NOTE: Commuters should avoid the affected stretch of Okhla Road and follow the diversion route to avoid delays. Emergency vehicles will be facilitated on priority; however, slight delays may occur due to congestion.
