After a thorough security check, the government authorities have stated that the incident was a hoax. The safety and security of our guests and employees is of paramount importance to us and we continue to remain vigilant, said Spokesperson Taj Palace, New Delhi.
Earlier on Friday, the Delhi High Court received a similar bomb threat via mail, sparking widespread panic. A full security drill was conducted in and around the court's premises. The lawyers, judges, and staff were quickly evacuated, and the proceedings were temporarily halted.
