Earlier on Saturday (December 14, 2024), Delhi Police informed that some schools in Delhi, including DPS RK Puram, received bomb threats via emails. Security forces were deployed outside DPS RK Puram following the warning.

Additionally, over 40 schools received bomb threats via e-mail in Delhi last week. The sender reportedly warned of denoting the bomb if a ransom of $30,000 was not paid. The mail read, “I planted multiple bombs inside (school) buildings. The bombs are small and hidden very well. It will not cause much damage to the building, but many people will be injured when the bombs detonate. If I do not receive $30,000 I will detonate the bombs.”
