Earlier on August 18, Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka had received bomb threat, prompting authorities to evacuate the premises. The recent threat follows a series of other similar incidents in the national capital over the last few months. On July 18, more than 50 schools in Delhi reported bomb threat emails one morning resulting in panic and mass evacuations. Notable targets included St Xavier’s in Civil Lines, Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, Abhinav Public School in Rohini, and The Sovereign School in Rohini.
