Delhi Pollution: Delhi’s air quality improved to ‘poor’ on Monday morning after enduring pollution levels under the ‘very ‘poor category for the 8th consecutive day. A thin layer of smog engulfed the capital city today as the AQI was recorded as 319 in Wajipur, 202 in Alipur, 298 in Mundka, 257 in Jahangirpuri, 201 in Narela, 229 in R.K Puram, 265 in Anand Vihar, 195 in Pusa, and 304 in Punjabi Bagh as of 8 am.
The people are, however, still not experiencing much relief from pollution in the National Capital. The Air quality may fluctuate in the coming days, but it will likely stay above 200. The city may continue to be affected due to vehicular emissions, stubble burning, and industrial pollution.
Supreme Court had restricted the upliftment of GRAP IV of anti-pollution measures until today, according to reports. However, it is yet to be announced if the schools will continue to run in hybrid mode till the authorities issue an updated notification.
