Delhi NCR Weather Update- The national capital on Tuesday morning experienced moderate rainfall, which has made the weather pleasant and brought much-needed relief from the heat. The downpour, caused by a fresh Western Disturbance affecting the northwest India, has also ushered in an early winter chill across Delhi-NCR. The line of withdrawal of southwest monsoon continues to pass through Veraval, Bharuch, Ujjain, Jhansi, Shahjahanpur, signaling cooler temperature and the gradual onset of the winter season.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall over Delhi on Tuesday, October 7. According to IMD’s weather forecast for Delhi, the city is expected to experience maximum rainfall under the influence of Western Disturbance. However, no specific alert has been issued by the IMD for Delhi so far. Generally cloudy sky, with several spells of light to moderate rain is expected at many places. The rain may be accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, with wind speeds ranging from 30–40 kmph, potentially reaching up to 50 kmph in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 27-29°C, offering extended relief to Delhi residents.

Gurgaon- A yellow alert has been issued for rainfall over Gurgaon. The sky will remain generally cloudy with a few spells of light to moderate rain at many places accompanied with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds.

Noida- IMD has forecast generally cloudy sky with a few spells of light to moderate rain at many places accompanied by thunderstorms/lightning and gusty winds with speed reaching upto 50 kmph.

Ghaziabad- Generally cloudy sky with a few spells of light to moderate rain at many places accompanied by thunderstorms has been predicted for Ghaziabad on Tuesday.

Faridabad- The region remains under yellow alert, with IMD forecast predicting one or two spells of light to moderate rain. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds is also expected.
