The Director of Lulu, Jaya Kumar Gangadharan, shared the group’s plans for more hypermarket stores in Lucknow. The objective is to ensure that communities have easy access to quality shopping destinations within their neighborhood.

Following the inauguration of Lulu Mall in Lucknow in July 2022, the company has been thrilled by the enthusiastic response from the public. The hypermarket in Lucknow draws 40,000 to 50,000 visitors daily, including families from eastern Uttar Pradesh, Nepal, and various other parts of the state. Gangadharan expects a 30 percent increase in business and footfall during the upcoming festive season compared to the previous season.

Noman Aziz Khan, the General Manager of the Lucknow hypermarket, revealed that the ready-to-eat foods, especially the chaat counter, are the biggest crowd-pullers. The hypermarket will commence its festive celebrations ahead of Dussehra and Diwali starting October 12, offering an even more exciting shopping experience for the residents.
