There will be a dry day on August 15, Independence Day. Means there will be no sale of liquor and cannabis etc. on this day. After this, important festivals like Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi are also fall in August. There will be a holiday in schools and banks on these festivals, and liquor shops will also remain closed as well in Delhi-NCR.

Police will keep an eye

If you are fond of drinking alcohol, then keep your stock of liquor in advance. So that you do not have to wander for liquor that day. The Excise Officer said that on August 15, the checking will be done. Several teams will patrol. To prevent this, along with the Excise Department, police teams will also be deployed for this work. Police will keep an eye on this in their police station areas.
