New Delhi: On the orders of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj on Saturday met the family members of Corona Warrior Late Satinder Hans, who lost his life due to Corona while on duty in the Corona Pandemic, and handed over one crore rupees to him from the Delhi Government. Handed over a check for the honour amount.
Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the late Satinder Hans, a resident of Virendra Nagar, was posted as Senior Nursing Officer in Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital (accident department). While serving people in the hospital, she got corona infected and passed away. The Health Minister said that even though the ex-gratia amount may not be able to compensate for the loss caused to the family, I hope that with this financial help, the family members will get some help in improving their future and living.
Health minister assured all possible help to the family
Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj reached Virendra Nagar today to meet the family of late Corona warrior Satinder Hans. The Health Minister met the family of the Late Satinder Hans and consoled them and assured them of all possible help if needed in future. During this, he handed over a check of Rs.50 lakh each to the son and daughter of the Late Satinder Hans. Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Late Satinder Hans, Senior Nursing Officer at Deendayal Upadhyaya Hospital (Accident Department) dedicated 37 years of his life to the service of the people by working in the Health Department. Their lives cannot be valued, but this ‘honour amount’ is a way for the Kejriwal government to pay homage to the sacrifices made by the Corona warriors.
Kejriwal government always ready to help Corona warriors
Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that in order to serve the public amidst the Corona epidemic, doctors, nurses, and employees provided 24-hour services for the treatment of patients, staying away from their relatives. Many Corona warriors have put their lives at stake while serving humanity and society. We heartily salute their hard work and their spirit to fight the war against the pandemic. I pray to God that his soul rests in peace. He said that the Kejriwal government has given financial assistance of Rs one crore each to the families of several Corona warriors of Delhi who lost their lives due to Covid while serving during the Corona period. The Delhi government will always stand by them for further help.
