Delhi: Man Stabbed To Death Near Purana Qila – Here’s How Police Solved The Blind Murder Case In Just 4 Hours

The police tracked down the accused there, identified as Sher alias Kabir. They took him into custody, where he revealed that he had met the victim, Rohit, two months ago.

Delhi: A shocking incident unfolded in Delhi on Wednesday afternoon after a man was found in a blood-soaked condition near Purana Qila, Mathura Road. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the spot and sent the injured to a nearby hospital. However, he died while he was on the way to the medical facility. The doctors said that the individual was murdered with a sharp weapon.

Police Scan The CCTV Cameras

Keeping in view the Mathura Road, which is considered mostly safe, the police formed a six-member team to investigate the crime. The officials later reviewed the CCTV and found the deceased traveling with someone on a bike. They traced the bike and reached Chirag Dilli in South Delhi. The police tracked down the accused there, identified as Sher alias Kabir. They took him into custody, where he revealed that he had met the victim, Rohit, two months ago.

Police Solve Blind Murder Case Within Hours

Rohit used to mainly roam near Hanuman Temple, while Sher works as a delivery agent in a food delivery company. The accused told Police that the event unfolded yesterday at noon when he received a call from Rohit, asking to help him resolve a fight with some of his friends. When both of them reached near Nizamuddin, they fought over something following which accused Kabir stabbed Rohit with a sharp weapon. He fled and tried to escape to Goa but was caught by the police in just 4 hours post the murder.
