An Orange Alert was issued for Delhi on Monday as the weather office (IMD) forecast rain and thunderstorms.
Some parts of the city got light rain early in the morning. The temperature dropped to 25.2 degree Celsius , which is 1.4 degrees lower than the normal for this time of year.
Rain, humidity up; air stays clean
The IMD said that the highest temperature on Monday could reach around 35 degrees Celsius, which is still not very hot for this time of year.
The Orange Alert is a weather warning that means people should stay alert and be prepared for bad weather that could cause problems.
At 8:30 in the morning, the humanity was high at 80%, making the weather feel damp.
Delhi’s air quality was in the “satisfactory” range, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 95. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), an AQI between 51 and 100 is considered satisfactory.
