A shocking incident has been reported from Delhi, where a 30-year-old woman has been stabbed by her neighbour. The incident occurred on Monday at Tilak Nagar area in West Delhi. The man attacked the lady after she refused his advances. The woman has sustained injuries and is admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Delhi police have arrested the accused for stabbing the woman multiple times.

Police said that the incident took place at woman’s house on Monday around 11:30 pm. The accused identified as 36 year-old Ravinder Singh, known as Goldy had attacked the woman. As per police reports the attack has been classified as a murder attempt. Ravinder was later arrested by the police along with the weapon he used to stab the woman.

What Did The Investigation Say?

Investigation revealed that the woman had moved into the area with her husband and children two year ago. She used to interact with the accused sometimes, but she avoided when the interaction started feeling uncomfortable. This avoidance prompted Ravinder to feel enraged and carry out the deadly attack on her. According to a police officer, the woman started avoiding him when the conversation started getting uncomfortable, but she never filed an official complaint.

The police further informed that the victim has undergone surgery and is under observation. A case of attempt to murder has been registered by the police based on statement of victim.
